In 2017, the double of ELTE SE (Hanna Szabó – Patricía Balogh) represented our country for the second time at the Orlando World Championships. The duo outstripping its performance of 2016 left 7 countries behind and ended up on the 16th place. At the 3-day event, 8,000 athletes have competed from all over the world at Jostens Center in DisneyWorld and at HP Field House! The European Championship 2016 was held in Austria. 3500 athletes from over 20 countries competed in cheerleading and performance cheer categories of senior and junior ages. For Hungary this is one of the most successful continent events that has been attended in recent years as the Hungarian delegation came home with a silver and a bronze medal.

The year 2016 was a turning point for the Hungarian cheer sport, because this year the country was represented for the first time at the Orlando World Championships. The double freestyle pom double Szabó Hanna-Balogh Patricia (ELTE SE) got on stage to compete with the bests in the world. This time we congratulate the girls for their performance.
